Bridal Makeup Trends

Wedding day is a fortunate and important day in the life of every bride and it is natural for each one to want to look their extraordinary best, yet retain some of their inherent everyday charm. A bride should be beautiful and not overdone. It is love that makes her beautiful and not the makeup artist. She's the star and has to look like a dream, her face translucent, soft and glowing.

Wedding Day is the most important day in the life of a woman and every young girl desire to look at her best on this blessed day in her life. Here are some tips to make you look as gorgeous as a queen:

- Use heavy-pigmented cream foundation and layer it with powder foundation to make the skin look smoother.

- Use powder foundation on neck, ears and chest too so that you don't seem to have a highlighted face.

- Use a concealer shade similar to the foundation and mix both well.

- Learn some camouflage makeup tricks and buy its products to use on your big day.

- If you have combination skin, use water based foundation and a dry sponge.

- Hide the under eye circles by applying concealer. Blend it towards the nose and use downward strokes.

- For a perfect eye shape, use a small brush to blend a medium tone color from just below the brow arch downwards in a semi-circle motion.

- Use light peach eye shadow as eyelid base.

- Choose lip liner that blends easily with lipstick for that soft glossy look that looks good in photographs too.

- Place the focus on the face either on eyes or on lip and underplay the other with neutral pink or brown shades.

- Thin and small lips look more sensuous with light lip colors while fuller lips can use deep shades.

Smoky Eye Makeup

What is Smoky Eye Makeup?

Smoking out your eyes has become a popular eye makeup procedure because it is simple to create and benefits all types of faces. Smoky eye makeup is essentially a makeup application that darkens the lids and highlights the brow bone. This effortless eye makeup trick will draw instant attention to your eyes and provide an overall sultry, sexy look.

Basic Application

In order to create a basic smoky eye impression, you will need only two colors of eye shadow, a deeper contour shade and a highlighter. For a quick basic application, you apply the highlighter over the entire upper eye socket, from the eyelid to the brow. Next, you will use the contour shade starting at the outer corner of only the eyelid. With the most intense color at the outside of the eye and fading as you move in towards the nose; sweep your eye makeup brush towards the inner eye. Lastly, blend the line between the darker color and the highlighter, otherwise it will create an unnaturally stark appearance.

MAKE UP

Bronzer
Bronzer is an absolute beauty must have in your makeup kit. Every person, young or old must have some form of bronzer this summer. It is the safest way to get that sun kissed look without actually stepping out in the sun. Tanning leads to skin cancer. It is a proven fact. The market is flooded with bronzers; liquid, powder, crème… the options are endless. Celebrity makeup artist Leslie Lopez uses Guerlain Terracotta power to give Kate Hudson’s fair skin a tanned look and compliments it with subtle colors.
Tinted moisturizer:
Ditch that foundation! Nothing looks as terrible as runny make up. The heat causes us to sweat. It can’t be helped but we can be saved a whole lot of embarrassment by using tinted moisturizer instead of heavy foundation. Moisturiser and a little concealer is all that most skins need and this summer try and avoid every thing else.
A Good Sunscreen:
Don’t even consider ever leaving the house without this skin care essential. Even if you are exposed to sun for only 5 or 10 minutes, the sun can cause immense damage including causing the skin to age. SPF or Sun protection factor 10 is alright for a short time outside and at least SPF 30 for an hour or more. Remember to reapply every 4 hours.
